Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, ensuring the highest standards in diagnostic imaging. The position requires adaptability to on-call and holiday rotations.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Position patients, utilizing safe patient handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient record-keeping using EPIC.
• Ensure images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Injection therapy certification stated on NYS license at time of submission.
• NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position).
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Two (2) Years' Experience.
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience.
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
• Telemetry experience.
