Compensation: $40.00–$45.00 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday–Friday with weekend rotation
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Facility Size: 130 beds
Patient Population: Long-Term Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation

Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and driven Physical Therapist (PT) to join a 130-bed skilled nursing facility in Lanham, Maryland , offering both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation.

This full-time opportunity provides the chance to work with a diverse patient population while developing meaningful relationships and helping patients reach important mobility and functional goals.

Responsibilities

• Complete physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments

• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and goals

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions

• Treat patients across both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

• Document treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and efficiently

• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility, and safety

• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other members of the care team

• Promote patient safety, independence, and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree

• Current Maryland Physical Therapist license

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Patient-centered approach to care

• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing environment

• Strong organizational and documentation skills
