POSITION OVERVIEW
The Custom Software Engineering team is seeking a Senior Java/Oracle Engineer to support high-priority application development and integration for a key digital banking client. In this role, you will design, code, and enhance critical system components using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate across technical teams, drive key architecture decisions, and help deliver scalable, high-performing financial software solutions.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply deep technical expertise to design, code, and implement robust backend custom software components.
- Utilize Spring Boot and Oracle database technologies to develop high-performing application modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance to team members in a collaborative environment.
- Analyze complex system challenges and engineer innovative solutions to optimize performance and system reliability.
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes to improve overall software quality standards.
