Field-based specialty pharmaceutical sales role focused on psychiatry products in the Bloomfield Hills, MI territory. The position involves executing brand strategy, managing assigned accounts, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in assigned territory while managing sales performance and achieving financial targets
• Build trusted customer relationships, identify customer needs, and develop disease state experts and speaker advocates
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve performance; develop call plans optimizing coverage and frequency
• Gather and communicate market intelligence on customers, competitors, disease dynamics and product information to internal teams
• Differentiate value proposition and handle objections effectively to close sales opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business, or 5+ years relevant industry experience with 3+ in pharmaceutical/health sector
• In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product and competitive knowledge with recognized expertise
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools; strategic and critical thinking capabilities
• Ability to adapt sales approach to customer styles and develop innovative solutions
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and safe driving requirements
• Satisfaction of healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements including background checks, immunization proof, and state-specific licenses
• Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales, physician/account-based selling, or managed healthcare preferred
