Field Service Technician

Job Title: Service Technician Location: Bossier City, LA Department: Field Services / Technical Support Report to: Lead Technician / Facility Manager Job Description Responsibilities Include: Develop a basic understanding of Arpco’s equipment and how it works Develop a basic understanding of production and pipeline equipment and systems Conduct basic maintenance and inspections on emergency shut down systems and valves. Be accountable for paperwork including, but not limited to, Job Safety Analysis, Service tickets and Expenditures Be available to work overtime if, and when necessary, including weekends and holidays Qualifications: Required: 1+ year of oilfield, construction and/or manufacturing experience Recommended: Valve/PRV/ESD experience Bonus: Leadership skills Required: Clean background, drug/alcohol testing and driving record CPR Certification - a plus PEC/Safeland/H2S Training - a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing, and working in challenging environments. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments. Ability to work long hours and travel frequently to different field locations. Work Environment: Field-based role with frequent travel to oilfield sites. Exposure to outdoor elements, industrial environments, and safety hazards.
