Materials Analyst

STGI IS IN AN ACTIVE BIDDING PROCESS FOR THIS POSITION AND POSITION AVAILABILITY IS CONTINGENT UPON STGI BEING AWARDED THE CONTRACT. 

Responsibilities 

• Co-lead the development, implementation and assessment of quantitative and qualitative research components of the project (e.g., survey, online data management) 
• Support the coordination and implementation of research projects, data collection, and the management of data generated by study protocols, while working collaboratively with a diverse team 
• Help with the disseminating the project’s success 
• Disseminate information to stakeholders
• Manage the online storage of data 
• Collaborate with staff to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to perform summative and formative evaluation on a continuous basis 
• Participate in weekly meetings with the team to monitor and provide feedback regarding the progress of the development and implementation of the project 
• Review of project materials and data collection instruments, and report writing 

Qualifications 

• Master’s degree in educational psychology, higher education, or related fields (Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D.) 
• Experience helping with research projects with an emphasis on online data collection methods (e.g., survey) 
• Expertise with survey, quantitative, and qualitative research software 
• Expertise in data collection and management 
• Strong communication skills 
• Research experience and/or coursework in quantitative research methods 
• Experience using quantitative research software (e.g., SPSS, R) 
• Experience in collaborating with other researchers on research projects   
• Must be team-oriented and demonstrate collaborative working skills 
• Preference given on candidates who have experience in helping with program evaluation (mixed methods preferred) projects
