Job Overview The Sanctuary at Brooklyn Center Senior Living is an affordable, friendly senior living community located near the crossroads of I-694, I-94 and Highway 100 in Brooklyn Center. Just down the street from CVS and CUB Foods, The Sanctuary community hosts 158 Assisted Living and Memory Care apartments. Our residents enjoy worry‑free living in a warm and friendly community with services to meet their individual needs. This position is responsible for dining room and to‑go meal service to residents. Responsibilities Serve meals and ensure that the dining area is clean and inviting. Follow meal serving schedule and procedures. Offer resident meal choices and meet resident’s specific dietary needs. Use proper safety and sanitation techniques. Follow dining room cleaning schedule and procedures. Follow proper procedures for dining room set‑up. Follow proper work flow to stay on task. Learn and become proficient with EMenu System and restaurant‑style service. Ensure all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift. Promote and encourage positive resident relations and satisfaction. Welcome residents and initiate conversation. Accommodate resident requests such as food substitution, change in seating, etc. Listen to any complaints and respond appropriately. Refer issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate. Required Qualifications Less than 1 year experience. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma. 1 year experience.
