Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Evansville, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary ICU Open Heart (ICU OH) Specialist in the Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular at the facility. Responsible for managing post-surgical and post-cardiac procedure patients within a dedicated 8-bed unit. Provides high-level patient care following cardiac surgeries, vascular surgeries, thoracotomies, TAVRs, and complex PCI interventions, including procedures such as central line and arterial line placements and chest tube management. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid Nursys license, Driver's license or State ID, professional profile in the ATS, three professional references, minimum of 3 years of experience in critical care/cardiac critical care. Additional Information: Experience in open heart recovery and post-cardiac intervention management is essential. Familiarity with Edwards and GE monitoring systems, SWAN Ganz catheters, and other related procedures is required.
