Job Title: Team Lead (11am - 7:45pm) – 117564 Location: USA - Port Reading, 1005 W Middlesex Ave Division: Solutions Time Type: Full Time Work Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:45 PM, Monday–Friday Job Description: The Operations Lead is responsible for coordinating and supervising all operational activities in warehousing, receiving, and shipping. Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Operations Lead ensures associates are managed in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Responsibilities Mentor and train new and existing associates in specific distribution activities to achieve customer demands Train associates on current Standard Operating Procedures, including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control Assist with forklift operation and certification for associates Shipping/Receiving Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and picking/staging of outbound shipments for maximum productivity Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and count all products accurately Load orders efficiently and accurately onto appropriate trailers Process all shipping/receiving/picking functions per Standard Operating Procedures Investigate shipping and receiving discrepancies Customer Service Maintain professional appearance and communication at all times Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person as needed Prepare required activity reports for site management Quality Control Responsibilities Use appropriate documentation to ensure products/returns are received or shipped correctly and accurately picked Verify product quality and report damages or discrepancies; stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products as required Process all quality control functions per SOP Report inconsistencies or problems to the Operations Supervisor or Manager Participate in quality meetings Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance Comply with ISO standards and execute all safety protocols Perform job tasks in a manner that promotes safety Maintain warehouse cleanliness and security Follow all SOP, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards Attend safety meetings Labor Management Direct warehouse work team operations to achieve objectives Assist associates with productivity sheets and payroll hours capture Help maintain productive workforce levels Help establish work schedules Ensure schedules are implemented correctly and jobs are completed properly Assist supervisor in ensuring product handling follows quality procedures Responsibility and Authority Participate in department meetings Initiate actions to prevent non‑conformities in product, process, and quality systems; record problems and recommend solutions through designated channels Report all non‑conformities immediately to the Quality Department Equipment Operation Operate equipment including sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, aisle master, and pallet jack Maintain equipment upkeep and report problems Perform daily forklift or equipment inspections and minor maintenance Operate all equipment safely and efficiently per prescribed work methods Keep forklift certification active Maintenance Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned Other Duties Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, appointments, greeting visitors, and filing as directed by site management Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed Perform other duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED 1 year experience in logistics, distribution, or a related environment Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations Complete forklift training program

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Computer Skills Basic computer skills RF scanners WMS functions Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal) Mathematical Skills Basic to intermediate skills for verifying quantities, counting inventory, and related tasks Other Strong attention to detail and accuracy; complete tasks promptly Work with minimal supervision or guidance Communicate effectively and respectfully at all organizational levels Adapt to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2‑4 years experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment 2‑4 years forklift experience Current or prior MHE certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee may have to use hands and arms to handle objects, tools, or controls; bend, stoop, kneel or crouch; speak or listen. Computer and telephone equipment use. The employee must lift more than 40 lbs using proper procedures and stand for extended periods. The job requires close and distance vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is typically low to moderate noise with rarely exposure to fumes or hazardous chemicals.

PAY RANGE

Expected base pay range: $20 - $24 per hour. Compensation determined by experience, skills, education, and location.
