Bartender/Server Position at Hawthorns Golf and Country Club

Join the team at Hawthorns Golf and Country Club! We are currently hiring part-time Bartender/Server to work throughout a variety of club outlets including the Players Lounge bar, snack shop bar, banquet bar, and select serving shifts. Candidates must have at least 3 years of bartending experience, maintain a professional appearance, and have a true passion for providing outstanding guest service. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented private club environment while creating exceptional experiences for our members and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain bar.
• Prepare cocktails.
• Greet members upon entrance.
• Present menus and help members to select food/beverages.
• Take and serve orders.
• Answer questions or make recommendations.
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
• Issue checks and accept payment.

Skills:

• 3 years service experience.
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Patience and customer-oriented approach.
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• High school diploma is required.
• Indiana liquor license is required or application in progress.
