Supply Base Management Spec (Supply Base Mgmt)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Tukwila, Washington.Position Responsibilities:Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectationsDevelops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategiesAnalyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunitiesDevelops mitigation plansIdentifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activitiesProvides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategiesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position is for 1st shift.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):More than 6 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processesMore than 6 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performanceMore than 6 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and servicesMore than 6 many years of experience working in a multi-functional team environmentPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 6 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirementsMore than 6 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective actionMore than 5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contractsTypical Education/Experience:Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
