Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

This is a vascular ultrasound technologist position. The individual will perform vascular ultrasound examinations. The role includes floating between units as required. On-call coverage is required for 4 nights. Weekends are not required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. The working environment includes a short-term acute care facility. The daily patient census is approximately 8-10 patients per technologist. The position requires proficiency in various vascular ultrasound skills such as Doppler studies and arterial mapping. The specialized equipment includes Philips EPIQ ultrasound machines. The candidate must commit to working some holidays. Complete compliance documentation will be required prior to the start date. Candidates must have a vehicle for transportation to assignments. Refusal to float as required may result in termination of the assignment.
