Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide direct patient care in a 65-bed unit, handling patients from minor injuries to critical conditions
• Use and interpret telemetry monitors, managing patients with a wide range of complaints
• Collaborate with a specialized trauma team, assisting with the care of Level 1/2 trauma patients
• Titrate and manage vasopressor and cardiac drips as part of patient care
• Navigate the EPIC charting system to ensure accurate and timely patient records
• Adapt quickly to the dynamic needs of a high-acuity environment

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Active IL license or proof of initiation of licensure process
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 prior travel assignment preferred
• SANE RN experience and experience in a teaching hospital preferred
• Proficiency in interpreting and responding to life-threatening rhythms
