Our client, a generationally owned snack, and confectionery food manufacturer in Newcomerstown, OH, seeks a passionate Accounting Specialist to join their team. You'll bridge the gap between management and employees, handle core accounting tasks, and contribute to a strong company culture.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for accurate decision-making.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Process payroll weekly with accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and disputes efficiently.
• Identify potential financial shortfalls to proactively manage cash flow.
• Provide support on general HR functions and maintain confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing (food industry a plus).
• Strong organizational, record-keeping, and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts effectively.
