API DeveloperSummary of the project/initiative: API Developer to provide mapping and data content analysis leveraging Teradata SQL skills. In addition to Java and/or C# development for highly complex APIs associated with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) healthcare standard (i.e., Formulary, Provider, Patient Access, Prior Authorization).Ideal candidate background:Programming Languages - SQL, Java or C# Knowledge of healthcare environment and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)Required skills:Years of experience 7+ Proven success in development of APIs Programming Languages - SQL, Java or C# Knowledge of healthcare environment and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)Team structure: 1 Project Manager, 1 DeveloperResponsibilities:Map Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) target to source data elementsDevelop Application Programming Interface (API) with Java or C# coding languageSupport API calls from external sources directly to TeradataWork with client to provide REST APIs in accordance with Secure Coding Practices as promoted by the Information Security OfficerSkills/attributes are required:Years of experience 7+ Proven success in development of APIs Programming Languages - SQL, Java or C# Knowledge of healthcare environment and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)Work independentlyAbility to interface with senior managementArticulate and communicate outcomes to clientProvide industry standard technical solutions to clientSkills/attributes are preferred:Proven success in development of APIs Programming Languages - SQL, Java or C# Knowledge of healthcare environment and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)Work independentlyAbility to interface with senior managementArticulate and communicate outcomes to clientProvide industry standard technical solutions to clientDoes this position require a professional license or certification?
