Job Title: Quality Inspector I

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Duration: 06 Months Contract Role

Location: Bartlett, TN 38133

Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri / 6:00am-2:30pm)

Pay Rate: $22/hr

Job Description:

Qualifications:

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two (2) year Technical Degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control regulated industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications:
- ASQ Certification (preferred).
Skills:
- Knowledge and experience operating the following inspection tools:
  - Caliper
  - Micrometer
  - Optical Comparator
  - CMM
  - Pin Gages
  - Microscope
- Knowledge and experience operating advanced measurement systems:
  - Vision System
  - SmartScope
- Basic computer skills required to perform job duties.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform incoming or first article inspections.
Create supporting records and reports.
Coordinate, perform, and report on inspections of materials, parts, and products to ensure compliance with Spiration Inc. requirements.
Understand lot sampling per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008.
Perform final/sterile release of products and in-process inspections.
Conduct label inspections and DHR final reviews.
Execute specified functional inspection tests.
Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Assist co-workers with training on quality standards and requirements.
Communicate inspection information to Operations and Quality personnel.
Initiate NCRs (non-conforming reports) when quality standards are not met and assist in MRB activities.
Assist Quality Engineers with data-gathering activities to support validations and/or studies.
Coach operations staff on quality requirements.
Operate advanced measurement systems.
Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime as needed.
Perform all other essential related duties as required.
