Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Staff Nurse for our Med Surg 3: General Surgery-Trauma unit in Athens, GA. This position involves night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM and offers a sign-on bonus, along with a specialty differential for Med Surg.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, from infancy to the end of life.
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.
• Adhere to the organization's policies and procedures while demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
• Maintain high standards of nursing practice and coordinate care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum Experience: New graduates from nursing programs are encouraged to apply.
• Licensure/Certification: Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Additional Qualifications:
  • For PRN roles, one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum for specifics).
