AB Staffing Solutions is seeking Physical Therapists for full-time, school-based opportunities throughout Hawaii. Spend your workweek helping students improve mobility, independence, and access to their educational environment — and when the school day ends, you're already in Hawaii. Current opportunities are available on: Hawai‘i Island – North Hawai‘i Island – East O‘ahu – Honolulu Assignment Details: Position: Physical Therapist (PT). Location: Hawaii. Setting: School-Based / On-Site. Employment: Full-Time W-2 Travel Contract. Contract: 2026–2027 School Year. Travel Package: Up to approximately $9,300 per month. Package may include a tax-free per diem for qualifying travelers. Travel reimbursement included. 10 days of PTO. Compliance reimbursement included. What You'll Be Doing: As a school-based Physical Therapist, you'll work with students, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students safely access and participate in their educational environment. Responsibilities may include: Providing direct and consultative physical therapy services. Conducting evaluations and assessments. Developing and implementing student-centered goals. Supporting mobility, balance, strength, coordination, positioning, and functional movement. Participating in IEP meetings and the IEP process. Monitoring student progress and maintaining required documentation. Collaborating with teachers, families, and related-service professionals. Recommending adaptive equipment, mobility devices, positioning supports, and environmental modifications. What We're Looking For: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current PT license in good standing and eligibility for Hawaii PT licensure. School-based or pediatric experience preferred. Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy services. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments. Flexibility with grade levels and student populations.
