Purchasing AssociateThis role will require perform inventory, purchasing and shipping/receiving activities for a R&D Product Development team working on software and computers. We are looking for inventory, purchasing and shipping assistance.Top Skills:Knowledge of Purchasing and Inventory Management in a process oriented environment or business would translate to the activities needed for this position.Expertise with Excel advanced skills like pivot tables, formulas, referencing, reporting is required.Ideally someone familiar with computers - workstations and servers and the components that go inside a computer.Familiarity with Barcode scanners and "Inventory Management software" would be helpful.Good writing and reporting skills & Organized and able to deliver on-time.Job Responsibilities:Plan, perform and administer purchasing activities to assure that all assigned production parts and materials are delivered within required delivery, quality, compliance and pricing perimeters.Conduct and document procurement activities and negotiations to support prudent buying decisions.Maintain ongoing interface with various departments to assure that materials purchased meet requirements at the lowest practical cost.Monitor open order reports.Take appropriate corrective action on Monthly Reporting Factors.Take an active leadership role on assigned projects.Frequently required to develop Excel spreadsheets as a visual reporting mechanism to management.Education:Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship.
