About the Role:
PALM BUILD LLC is looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Restoration Technician to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. This is your opportunity to take the lead on meaningful restoration projects, guide a talented crew, and make a real difference for property owners in their time of need. Responsibilities:
- Perform water mitigation and restoration services
- Work extensively in crawlspaces, including water extraction, drying, and moisture remediation
- Set up and monitor drying equipment such as dehumidifiers and air movers
- Remove damaged materials and perform light demolition work
- Take moisture readings and document job progress
- Upload job documentation, photos, and notes using mobile apps/software
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and company vehicles
- Communicate professionally and efficiently with homeowners, office staff, and team members
- Participate in after-hours and weekend emergency response rotation
Requirements:
- Previous water restoration experience REQUIRED
- Crawlspace experience REQUIRED
- Must be familiar with IICRC standards and procedures
- Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
- Must be proficient with technology and mobile apps/software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and challenging environments
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
- IICRC certifications are a plus
Experience Preferred
- Water restoration: 1+ year
- Crawlspace work: 1+ year
