30hop Restaurant & Bar in Coralville, IA is hiring Cooks to join our kitchen team.

We’re looking for dependable, motivated people who enjoy working with food and being part of a busy restaurant kitchen. Depending on your experience and interests, you may work in food preparation, on the line during service, or across multiple areas of the kitchen.

Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but we’re also open to candidates who are ready to learn, work hard, and develop their skills alongside an experienced team.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Pay

$16 - $22 per hour based on experience.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts may be available
• Weekend availability is preferred
• Scheduling is based on restaurant needs and individual availability

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients and recipes for daily service
• Set up and maintain a stocked, organized workstation
• Prepare menu items using grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and established quality standards
• Rotate, label, store, and handle food properly
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift
• Complete cleaning, stocking, inventory, and food-storage tasks as assigned
• Communicate with kitchen leaders and other team members during service
• Assist with both prep and line responsibilities based on the needs of the kitchen
• Complete other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Restaurant, line cook, or prep cook experience is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
