Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Middleborough, Massachusetts Company: Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Job Summary: Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team! As a CNA, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, working closely with our professional nursing staff to meet their personal needs and comfort. Responsibilities: Provide routine tasks as assigned by the Charge Nurse and assist with resident care, including activities of daily living, grooming, and hygiene Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and vital signs Assist with meal service, feeding, and meal documentation Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, including maintaining orderly resident rooms and storing clean and soiled linen Follow established health, sanitary, and infection control policies and procedures Participate in informal and formal resident care meetings and assist with accident and incident investigations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our residents Requirements: C.N.A. certification as evidenced by completion of Nurse’s Aide Training Program approved in accordance with the State of Massachusetts Public Health Code and a passing score on the MA Nurse’s Aide Certification Exam Clean ASI registry check Previous CNA experience desirable, but not essential Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility Work Environment: Works in an appropriately lighted and ventilated environment Exposed to blood/body fluids Physical Requirements: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required - bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders are involved Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
