Now hiring immediately for our Brookshire, TX location. Schedule Available: Day Shift: 6am-6pm $100 referral bonus for each person that you bring on with you! The Quality Inspector is an entry level position in the solar panel manufacturing process. You will safely inspect specific equipment and ensure the highest quality for photovoltaic solar modules. Perform basic quality control procedures, and interface with equipment and factory computer systems. Qualifications & Skills: Must have quality control experience and demonstrate a strong ability to think analytically. Must have a high attention to detail. Fundamental knowledge to work with different computer applications. Ability to use mobile systems, communication devices, and simple tool interfaces. Ability to use simple hand tools and measurement tools Basic Math skills appropriate to learn typical manufacturing production metrics Able and willing to learn (interface with machine control panels, recognize quality, perform data analytics, troubleshoot issues and problem-solve Proficiency in English language skills. Must take a drug screen. 7-year background check for violent crime, sex offenses, and larceny. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in manufacturing environment, including standing and walking for up to 12 hours per day. Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift. Ability to stoop, kneel, bend on occasional basis Ability to reach above shoulder and below waist frequently Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basis 20/40 vision in each eye (with or without correction) and the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green is required.
