Job Title: Carpenter

Position Type: Full-Time, Contract

Location:  Destin, FL

Pay: $22-25/hr.

Summary:

LEAD Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Carpenter for our client in Destin, FL, a major national hotel chain. In this role, you will perform repairs, maintenance, and general carpentry work across a large commercial property. This role requires a hands-on professional who can maintain building interiors, fixtures, and furnishings while ensuring quality workmanship and safe working conditions. This is a CONTRACT role that is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Perform framing, drywall installation, trim work, and furniture assembly.
• Repair and maintain structures, fixtures, doors, and furnishings.
• Identify maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with other trades as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and related equipment.
• Follow applicable building codes and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry or related skilled trade experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
