Chemical Process Manufacturing Engineer

As the Chemical Process/Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the reliability, efficiency, safety, and sustainability of our manufacturing processes. What will I get to do in this position? Working closely with operations and maintenance, you will use engineering expertise to optimize plant performance through process improvement, troubleshooting, project support, and technical leadership.You'll analyze production data, implement solutions to manufacturing challenges, support audits and capital projects, and share knowledge through training and collaboration across the organization.You will leverage data and KPIs to identify and execute improvement opportunities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive operational excellence.Success in this role includes fostering a culture of continuous improvement, developing team capabilities through coaching and knowledge sharing, and delivering sustainable, measurable results.What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? B.S. in Chemical Engineering; upcoming December 2026 graduates are welcome to apply. Must be available to start full-time employment no later than January 2027. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant operations.Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.What will set me apart?2+ years of chemical manufacturing or process engineering experience; recent graduates with relevant internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply. Experience leading process improvements, managing projects, and influencing change across teams. Experience in chemical, food, or other process manufacturing environments. Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, instrumentation, and process controls. Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
