Screw Machine Operator - Hamilton, OH

Responsibilities Responsible for operation of screw machines; including loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine. Responsible for performing minor tooling adjustments, tool changes, and tool sharpening. Responsible for conformance with quality specifications. Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines. What will help you thrive in this role? Mechanically inclined – Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixing things both familiar and unfamiliar. Perform standard math – Individual needs to be able to perform standard math to effectively make machine adjustments. Reasoning ability – Ability to think, reflect, and make decisions to overcome obstacles. Relevant work experience; maintenance, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or trade school completion.
