Job Summary The Internal Auditor II provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value to and improve the institution's operations. Reports to the institution Chief Audit Officer. This position helps the institution accomplish its mission by applying a systematic, risk-based approach to evaluate and strengthen governance, risk management, internal control, and compliance processes across academic, administrative, athletics, and auxiliary operations. The Internal Auditor conducts financial, operational, compliance, audits and advisory engagements in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA Standards), the institution's audit charter, and applicable state and system policy. Responsibilities Execute engagements from the institution's risk-based annual audit plan, including financial, operational, compliance, and grant/sponsored-research, as well as advisory and consulting projects requested by management.
