Clinical Training Manager

Description Regional Clinical Trainer (LPC, LCSW LMFT or LCDC) – Lewisville, TX BayMark Health Services is looking for a knowledgeable and innovative Counselor / Clinical Social Worker for our Regional Clinical Trainer role. The function of the Regional Clinical Trainer is to coordinate and direct clinical training within the organization. This position will report to the VP of Clinical Services and will require up to 60% travel nationally. Responsibilities Coordinate and direct clinical education and training. Design evidence‑based training curriculums and select appropriate learning delivery methods. Conduct on‑site clinical trainings and monitor program clinical trainings. Inspect and evaluate clinical training programs and curriculum, ensuring training and counseling services are evidence based and adhere to the highest standards of quality. Work closely with the Operations and Quality/Clinical Compliance departments to determine and implement the clinical training needs of BayMark. Develop and conduct Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems training and education. Develop internal CEU opportunities for staff. Update patient handbooks for the assigned region annually. Participate in federal and state substance abuse training, continuing education as needed to perform safely and effectively. Partner with Treatment Center Directors and other team members to meet established training objectives. Provide management reporting and participate in staff meetings as requested. Participate in the BayMark Performance Improvement Process. Operate within budgetary constraints. Travel as required to meet the needs of the position. Adhere to a code of conduct consistent with BayMark Services policy. Meet or exceed delivery of Company Service Standards consistently. Interact with all staff positively and motivationally, supporting the Company’s mission. Conduct all business activities professionally and ethically. Handle stressful situations and interact with others. Be present during working hours at the office for in‑person meetings and have access to a computer without violating company policy. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Licensed professional counselor, social worker, therapist or licensed addiction counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or LCDC). Prefer 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment providing counselor education/training. Experience in education/curriculum development and implementation. Experience with Continuing Education Unit programs. Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Understanding of OTP clinic operations is preferred. Understanding of HIPAA, Federal, State, CARF and/or JCAHO standards and regulations. Knowledge and skills with Microsoft products and general computer literacy, with strong proficiency in Excel. Customer‑service focused. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting. Self‑directed with ability to work with little supervision. Ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to improve counselor productivity and effectiveness through training and education. Demonstrated organizational skills. Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
