You’ll receive a competitive salary, excellent benefits plus an amazing PNW lifestyle – a perfect combination! **FTE:**100%**WORK SHIFT**Days**PAY RANGE:**$24.01 - $35.44**UNION:**SEIU 1199-Service and Dietary**SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS:****Weekend & Holiday Shifts:** No**Shift Differentials:*** Evening - $3.00/hour* Night - $5.00/hour* Weekend - $4.50/hour**Premiums:*** Per Diem - 15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits)* Lead - $3.25/hour* On-Call - $3.00/hour* Preceptor - $1.50/hour* Trainer - $1.50/hour**JOB DESCRIPTION:**The Medical Assistant – Certified provides clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an OMP outpatient clinic. Under the supervision and direction of a provider (physician or advanced practice clinician) or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator, the certified Medical Assistant performs duties that are consistent with his/her Medical Assistant education, training, experience and certification.***Education*** • High school diploma/GED required • Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health required ***Experience*** One year of experience in health care in an outpatient clinic preferred (experience specific to the type of clinic being hired for is preferred) ***Licensure/Credentials*** • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire. • Current Medical Assistant – Certification issued by the WA State Department of Health.
