Fleet Truck DriverOpportunity to come on as a Company DriverSugar Foods Fleet Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and professional operation of equipment while completing over the road deliveries, picking up and transporting of material for Sugar Foods on company trucks. No Touch Freight. As an OTR driver you will be out an average 5 days. Monthly safety bonus.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Safely operate a diesel tractor with an automatic transmissionHave excellent communication skillsBe a team player with a great attitudeMaintain all local, state and federal lawsSafely enter and exit the vehicle and trailerBe on time for departureMaintain safe operation of Sugar Foods vehicles including driving and vehicle safety checksMaintain accurate paperworkMaintain current and accurate logs and records as required by Federal and State regulations (Using Electronic Log System (ELD)Observe all hours of service and other requirements as dictated by Federal and State regulationsMaintain accurate records of all pre-approved expensesMaintain a neat and clean appearanceMaintain a professional demeanor at all times with customers, coworkers, and the publicMaintain a clean and washed tractor and trailerWhat We Look For:Two years minimum verifiable CDL A related Commercial Truck Driving experience in a tractor-trailer to include some OTR driving of at least one year.Must be willing to drive to the Northeast, New England, and Mid-Western states.All drivers must be willing to drive at night as well as the daytime.CMV Drivers must have a Clean MVR, No At Fault Accidents.Valid state-issued CDL A Driver's LicenseValid DOT Medical Examiners CardNo speeding citations of 15 mph or more over the posted speed limit.No more than six points in 5 years.No moving violations in 3 years.CMV driver candidates who are enrolled in a federal drug rehabilitation program will not be considered.CMV driver candidates who are convicted of any drug or alcohol-related offense within the last seven years that involves a commercial vehicle will not be considered.CMV driver candidates who are convicted of a felony involving the use of a commercial motor vehicle or leaving the scene of an accident will not be considered.We Offer:Late model assigned sleeper tractors and van trailers.Leased vehicles that are maintained through a national truck lease vendor.Multi stop scheduled routes99% No touch palletized dry freight, dock door deliveries.Weekly Home time.U.S. Employment: If you have any difficulty using our on-line system, you may use the alternative method described below to contact someone about your interest in employment at Sugar Foods Corporation.
