Our products are on virtually every U.S. satellite built in the last 20 years.Our Deployables Operating unit is seeking a Program Manager 3 for the OneSat Solar Array Production Program, which is comprised of the Top Assembly, Integration, and Test Integrated Product Team (IPT) for our Oxnard, CA facility.OneSat is a very large compact telescoping deployable solar array for a commercial communications satellite.Learn more about Mission Enabling Products at our website: primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions. The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals. The OneSat Solar Array Program Manager will be responsible for leading the transition from the completion of qualification into Low-rate Initial Production (LRIP) and full rate production through contract closeout.Role and Responsibilities:Cultivate customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer communityEstablish a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizationsLead and direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectivesMeasure and report program performanceDeliver presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholdersParticipate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.Manage the program Statement of WorkIdentify, distribute, track, and complete program requirementsEstablish and manage the program and subordinate baselinesDevelop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and toolsIdentify, allocate and manage program resources, to include workforce planningManage customer supplied property or information (CFE, etc.)Manage suppliers to meet program objectives.Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standardsEnsure the program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manage change through control board activitiesDevelop and adhere to master plans and schedulesConduct thorough risk and opportunity management practices to include identification, mitigation and realizationBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years’ experience supporting customers in a project/technical lead roleMinimum 5+ years of experience in program managementProven analytical, technical, strategic and problem-solving skillsExperience in risk and opportunity managementStrong organization skills in both independent and team environmentsExperience in design for manufacturing and transition to production programsStrong interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsAbility to adjust communication to audience (from manufacturing technician up through customer and executive management)US Citizenship is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with Space Deployable Solar ArraysExperience in both Engineering and Project Management, or IPT rolesManufacturing or Mechanical Engineering experienceProposal Management and/or Business Development experienceCost Account Manager experienceEarned Valued Measurement System (EVMS) experience#LosAngelesSpace#SPProgMgmt#SpacePMERAPPrimary Level Salary Range: $193,000.00 - $289,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
