Replenishment Forklift Operator

Description

The Replenishment Forklift Operator, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to accomplish various put away and replenishment tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Operate forklift safely and effectively
• Perform equipment checklist daily before operating machine
• Report any equipment maintenance needs to management
• Use forklift combined with electronic warehouse management system to accurately perform put-away tasks, replenishment tasks, and relocation tasks
• Use computers, scanning guns, rack labels, license plate labels, etc. in accordance with the electronic warehouse management system
• Inspect pallet placement for safety upon completion of task
• Dismount forklift when needed to physically clear path or prepare applicable area for next task
• Use various warehouse equipment including but not limited to hand carts, manual pallet jack, U-cart or the following after appropriate licensure: forklift, scissor lift, power pallet jack, stacker.
• Communicate in person, phone calls and emails
• Perform other duties as assigned, including work within other departments when needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to fluently speak, read and write English language.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Competency on various computer software
• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service
• Excellent Currency/Math Aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to work in a cooler and freezer environment
• Ability to pass HPE test
• Ability to pass initial drug test as well as randomized drug tests during employment
