Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree. Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting. Experience with business partnerships, strategy development, and leadership presentations. Preferred qualifications: Experience in data center infrastructure design finance modeling within a fast-paced technology company. Experience translating complex engineering concepts into disciplined financial projections. Experience with building data infrastructure (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring) and implementing reporting solutions. Experience in developing strategies in fast-paced competitive environments, impeccable business judgment for resource allocation decisions to achieve the desired business outcome. Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks followed by coordinated and economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability or impact of unfortunate events or to maximize the realization of opportunities. Architect, defend, and maintain sophisticated financial models. Conduct investment and Net Present Value (NPV) analyses on next-generation technical infrastructure to enable structured savings. Drive large, matrixed programs spanning multiple organizations, ensuring robust financial controls, process optimization, and risk mitigation across the fleet. Identify and advocate optimization opportunities that bend the cost curve downward, providing Google with a distinct technical and financial competitive advantage.
