Join our team as a PET/CT Technologist, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to patients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review patient history and physician's orders
- Educate patients about procedures and equipment
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures
- Ensure proper imaging techniques for diverse patient needs
- Analyze imaging results and address quality issues
- Administer and manage radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
- Maintain inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms
What We Need To See
- CT certification and PET/CT experience
- New York State License
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ARRT certification in CT
- NNMTCB certification in CT
- Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by NMTCB or certified in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
