Human Resource Analyst
The Department of Public Defense (DPD) is recruiting for a Human Resource Analyst to provide administrative and coordination support for departmental recruitment and hiring, ensuring an organized, timely, and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The role supports daily recruitment activities, including maintaining candidate records, coordinating interviews and recruitment events, communicating with applicants, posting and updating job opportunities, and providing general administrative support across other HR functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in developing a career in human resources. They should be comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds and demonstrate strong communication, professionalism, and customer service skills. The HRA will manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team setting. This position offers opportunities for growth in human resources while supporting DPD's efforts to attract and retain talented employees committed to public defense. The HRA will help ensure recruitment and HR functions align with DPD's mission, King County's equity and inclusion commitments, and Department of Human Resources policies and procedures.
