RN - Behavioral Health

Mid 5x8-Hour: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend coverage required every other week. Job Description We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to take on a charge role during evening shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee patient care while managing nursing staff in a psychiatric facility. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and ensure the safety and well-being of patients. Coordinate nursing assignments and manage staff in charge of patient care during shifts. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records using the Sunrise charting system. Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a behavioral health setting preferred. Current and valid Registered Nurse license required. BLS certification required. Experience with Sunrise electronic medical records system preferred.
