Certified Surgical TechnologistPermanent Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at the Cardiovascular Operating Room in Salem, VA. As a full-time, permanent employee, you will play a vital role in assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.Responsibilities:Prepare operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipmentAssist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other suppliesMonitor and maintain sterile field throughout surgeryAnticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide necessary supplies and equipmentCollaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomesPrepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for sterilizationAssist with patient positioning and prepping for surgeryDocument and maintain accurate records of surgical proceduresAdhere to all safety and infection control protocolsContinuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and trainingQualifications:Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certificationMinimum of 2 years experience in a cardiovascular operating room settingStrong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situationsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to stand for long periods of time and lift/move heavy equipmentWillingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as neededWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization.
