Paint Prep TechnicianWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Paint Prep Technician to join our growing auto body team at Tipton Auto Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles and parts for paint application to ensure high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesSand, feather-edge, and scuff vehicle surfacesMask and tape vehicles for paint applicationApply primer and perform block sandingClean and degrease panels prior to paintingAssist painters with paint booth setup and breakdownMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and shop guidelinesInspect surfaces before paint to ensure quality standardsQualificationsPrevious auto body or paint prep experience preferredKnowledge of sanding tools (DA sander, hand sanding tools, etc.)Strong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbsReliable and punctual
