From standard products to our custom solutions, Zierick has created products utilizing various technologies which have become the industry standard and continue to shape the future of the industry.ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will regularly perform the following tasks:Adhere to Tool Room schedule and report to the tool room supervisorRun Wire EDM Machines, including job and workpiece setupRun CNC machines, including job and workpiece setupLog work and hours performedMaintain EDM and CNC machines to ensure good working orderBasic machining (e.g. surface grinding, lathe work)Ability to read technical prints, including understanding of GD&TMetrologyMaintain and verify Tool Crib InventoryPlace purchase requisitions for the tool roomHeat treatment of tool steelsFollow safety regulations and requirementsBasic housekeepingSupport the tool roomLess frequently, the incumbent will perform other duties as required that may include:Calling vendors for support on machinesQualificationsRequired QualificationsMachiningMetrologyAbility to read technical drawings and schematicsWire EDM Machine Operation and Basic MaintenanceCNC Machine Operation and Basic MaintenanceHeat TreatmentBasic MathPreferred SkillsMicrosoft Word and ExcelCAD/CAMERPExperience with Agie Charmilles Cut20 and VP2 MachinesAdditional NotesZierick will provide training and training opportunities to the incumbent to fulfill the job description.Company ProfileOur Product and Service Since its inception in 1919 Zierick Manufacturing Corporation has been a valued supplier of standard and custom engineered stamped, metal products to end users in the electrical and electronic industries.
