This is a great opportunity for candidates with a strong manufacturing background who are looking to grow their skills. No prior tube laser experience is required — training is provided for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and operate CNC tube laser equipment under guidance of leads and operatorsSet up machinery and ensure production meets quality standardsRead and interpret work orders and blueprintsUse precision measuring tools such as calipers, measuring tape, and angle finders (millimeter measurements)Load and unload raw materials using overhead cranesLift, package, and move finished productsPerform light machine maintenance as directedMaintain accurate ERP recordsCommunicate effectively during shift handoffsReport equipment or production issues promptlyWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma required; technical training or Associate's degree preferred2–5 years of manufacturing or production experienceStrong mechanical aptitude with experience in machine setup and troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret blueprintsComfortable using calipers, tape measures, and angle finders (millimeter-based measurements)Solid understanding of shop math (trigonometry a plus)Experience in cutting, laser, or fabrication environments is a plus but not requiredEnglish comprehension required for safety and communicationSpanish-speaking resources available onsiteThis is a skilled role – not general laborWork ConditionsPhysically demanding: standing, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs.Exposure to noise, vibration, and varying temperaturesPPE provided: high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots with metatarsal guards, prescription safety glassesLocker rooms and company-paid uniforms provided upon hireNo cell phones allowed on the shop floorPre-Employment Requirements4-panel rapid drug test (No THC for pre-employment; tested post-accident)7-year, all-county criminal background checkMust wear steel-toe boots with metatarsal guardsWhat to Expect5-day orientation on 1st shiftTemp-to-hire opportunity with full union benefits upon hireImmediate hiring decisions following interviews
