About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with ED License: RRT Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: Level IV NICU experience Experience with high frequency jet ventilator Experience with oscillating ventilator Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies Description: The position requires a respiratory therapist with experience in pediatric respiratory therapy. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of current experience in NICU and PICU. Preferred candidates hold an RRT credential. CRT candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they meet all other skill and experience requirements. The role requires the ability to work a schedule that includes weekend shifts. Candidates must be compliant with flu vaccine policies. Candidate will be required to pass an EKG/Telemetry exam. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience with high-risk respiratory interventions and various respiratory equipment. Attendance standards will be enforced and excessive absences may result in contract review. Compliance is crucial and candidates must respond promptly to requests for documentation and information throughout the assignment. This position involves working with diverse patient age groups and requires advanced problem-solving skills in critical situations. Candidates are expected to have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
