Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Deliver patient care in a 20-bed medical unit
• Maintain nurse to patient ratios of 1:4/5 on day shifts and 1:5/6 on night shifts
• Collaborate effectively with the Charge Nurse and Patient Care Technicians
• Adhere to standard procedures and ensure accurate documentation within the EPIC system
• Float as necessary based on unit needs

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• General Medical experience, with a focus on teamwork and communication
• Ability to produce a negative drug screen as per facility requirements
