The successful candidate will join an Intermediate Care Unit, providing vital care within an acute setting. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide care for intermediate acuity patients including managing chest pain, CHF, and arrhythmias
• Interpret and manage Tele data independently alongside Tele Techs
• Administer and titrate medications such as Amiodarone, Dopamine, and Heparin
• Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists onsite to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist in care of pre/post catheterization and Tikosyn therapy patients
• Participate in flexible scheduling including weekends and holiday coverage as required

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Valid RN license with willingness to wait for licensure
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Experience in acute care within a stepdown or similar setting
