Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must have an active license prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Airway management Management of IV drips Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure ICU and step-down experience Description: This position involves working as a registered nurse in the ICU. The role requires experience in airway management, IV drip management, and caring for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Candidates must be able to float to step-down units as needed. A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. The position operates on a night shift schedule, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Candidate must be able to manage a 2:1 patient ratio during shifts. Experience with specialized procedures such as chest tube management and ventilator care is preferred.
