Machine Operator-2nd Shift

Location: Stockton, CA Position: Machine Operator Shift: 2nd- 3:30pm-2am /Monday-Thursday with possible weekend work as needed. While reporting to the Production Supervisor as a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for Set -up, operation and maintenance of machinery, ensuring machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity and is properly maintained. What you’ll be doing: Work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start up and operation on multiple pieces of equipment. Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high-quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials. Operate/Monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality and minimal unplanned stops. Perform tasks as assigned by supervision. We’d love to hear from you if: Have a basic mechanical understanding; Trouble shooting, gear rotation, etc. Able to read a tape measure and how to use basic tools such as rachets, impact drills, wrenches, etc. Possess analytical skills and pays attention to detail. Ability to handle heavy equipment. Have experience in a manufacturing environment. Able to stand, stoop, bend, lift and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and maneuver large items up to 50 pounds safely.
