Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (Inpatient) position available in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing skilled occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in an acute rehabilitation or inpatient setting. Candidates are required to bring their California Occupational Therapist license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Saturday
• Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, California OT License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, adult rehabilitation facility experience, and prior experience with the electronic medical record system Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy, experience working across various levels of acuity in hospital settings including ICU, telemetry, and general wards.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have recent travel experience within 12 months and have prior teaching hospital experience preferred. All candidates must confirm receipt of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, with proof of vaccination or appointment scheduled before start date.
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
• Patient Diagnoses & Procedures: Orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, and general medical/surgical conditions. Experience with assistive devices, evaluation, discharge planning, safety and injury prevention, and wound management is essential.
• Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive occupational therapy services, assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams within the rehabilitation setting.
