Pay: $50 to $55 per hour Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/22/2026 About the Position Psychiatric Nurse Location: Lawton, Oklahoma Start Date: 06-18-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed, weekends as needed Hours per Week: 60 Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement patient care plans Attend weekly clinical staffing and review patient treatment plans Provide medication education to patients and families Monitor and document patient emotional and mental observations Lead teaching and educational groups Train LPNs and MHTs in charting and vital signs Participate in PI teams and task forces Accept educational or marketing assignments Qualifications At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience Oklahoma state license De-escalation training preferred Recent traveler experience preferred Education Current nursing education and licensure Knowledge & Skills Psychiatric nursing skills Medication education De-escalation techniques Patient care planning Clinical staffing #J-18808-Ljbffr TravelNurseSource
