Jr Accountant

Salary: USD30 - USD33 per hour Jr Accountant Temp to Hire - Up to $33/hr South Orange County, CA | Full-Time (32 hours a week) Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Jr Accountant to support daily accounting operations. This position offers a diverse mix of responsibilities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll support, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced working in a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable, including invoice matching, coding, approvals, and vendor reconciliations. Prepare payments via check and electronic methods. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Process customer billing, monitor receivables, apply cash receipts, and assist with collections. Reconcile customer and vendor accounts. Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions. Enter payroll data and maintain payroll records. Manage petty cash and assist with month-end closing activities. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support audit requests. Assist with special projects and other accounting responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Strong experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
