Structural Plate Fitter - Read Drawings & Fit Layout

Jones Valley Fabrication 540 Industrial Park Rd Oneonta, AL 35121, USA Responsibilities Core business is structural (beams, columns, angles, channels...etc.) and plate work. Fit up various plate/structural weldments prior to welding. Read complicated shop drawings and fit up the steel for a welder to complete. Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products. Performs related tasks as assigned. Requirements 5 years fitting experience in heavy plate and/or structural work. Must have own tools. Qualifications High School or better.
