We're currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our amazing team.

Details of the Physician Assistant opening:

• Anticipated start date: ASAP
• Salary Range: $70/hour
• Anticipated duration of assignment: As needed
• Anticipated schedule: FT / 12s (8:30a-8:30p) or 24-hour shifts

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant:

• Provide healthcare services to patients by following established standards, procedures and practices.
• Obtain detailed history and perform physical or psychological examinations.
• Perform or order X-rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures, and interprets results.
• Administer such therapeutic procedures as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Provide physicians with assistance during surgery or medical procedures.
• Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance.
• Evaluate outcomes of direct patient care and consult with other specialists as required.
• Maintain required records and write progress notes on patient charts as to status, treatments and procedures.
• Provide preventative health care services to long-term patients and arrange consultations and referrals.

Qualifications for the Physician Assistant:

• Master's degree in Health Science.
• Physician Assistant Certificate of Registration or Certification eligible and Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• 2 or more years of Physician Assistant experience.
• Current certifications: (ACLS, PALS).
